Piglet goes in, in a few hours time.
The bodyshop can’t give us a ‘like for like’ courtesy car so the insurance company is providing a rental. Last time they gave us a crappy 1.0 Ford Fiesta 5 door base model. It was tiny, slow (so incredibly slow) and uncomfortable.
So drive to the bodyshop, a person from Enterprise will take us from there to the rental company to get a car. We’ve insisted a ‘like for like’ but you know what rental companies are like for that.
I’m hoping it’s either in ‘Skoda Octavia or similar’ or ‘Vauxhall Insignia or similar’ class (yes, that’s how they show the classes on the U.K. Site I looked on), (because apparently the Vauxhall Insignia is a larger class car to the Skoda Octavia’, if it is, I can’t see it).
So what car does OPPO think we’ll get?

Hey, I went from a G35 coupe (Skyline 350GT Coupe in the UK) to a base model Focus hatch, automatic. thanks to Enterprise through my insurance company. They offered me an Altima, but it was a CVT.

Last time I had a “like for like” rental was for my mn12 Thunderbird. They only had 3 cars available and gave me my choice of a Versa, MKZ, or Fiat 500.
I ended up fitting all my guns in the little hatch and driving that little Fiat about a half mile down a bumpy dirt road to go shooting. Good times.

I bloody hope not.

I wouldn’t be adverse to a Mondeo.

A Mondeo would be okay. I never really see Avensises, Avensii, Avensisis, anymore.

Huh, that is my usually my rental car experience in Europe.
England you get either a Mondeo or Avensis Wagon
Switzerland likes their A6's and E classes wagons
Italy is just a shit show
France means Citroen DS5/Laguna Wagon is the best you can hope for without spending too much.
